The sacristan serves behind the scenes to prepare the church and sacred vessels for Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Through careful attention to vestments, linens, liturgical books, and altar preparations, the sacristan helps ensure that each celebration is reverent and well-organized, supporting the prayer life of the parish community. Our young ladies in middle school are trained to be sacristans and assist at weekday masses.
