Assist in the reverent distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass and bring Communion to the homebound, if needed. Through this ministry, EMHCs support the sacramental life of the parish and help ensure that all the faithful are nourished by the Eucharist. Appointed by the pastor, EMHCs require training by the diocese and/or parish.
