St. Patrick Catholic School holds an annual dinner & auction as it’s primary fundraising event in the fall. Preparations begin about six months in advance with monthly meetings and increase to weekly meetings a few months in ahead of the event. There are many sub-commitees that require a lead chairperson. Many parish and school volunteers are also needed the week of the event to set up and decorate, as well as the night of the event to bartend, serve, sell raffles, and run the check-in/check-out table. School families are required to participate as volunteers and many parishioners pitch in to help the night be as seamless as possible.
