We have had perpetual adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament at St. Patrick Catholic Church since 2005.  That means that someone has been praying with Jesus 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for nearly 20 years!  Thank God for this grace.  We know that The Lord will never be outdone in generosity.

  • All parishioners are encouraged to sign-up for an hour or to sign-up as a substitute for Eucharistic Adoration.
  • Each day of the week has a captain that fills the hours for that particular day (Mondays, Tuesdays, etc.)  If you're interested in an Adoration hour, call the Rectory and we will put you in touch with the appropriate captain that fits your schedule needs.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

How to Pray a Holy Hour:

Our SPCC Bulletin lists prayer intentions of our parish each week.  Please contact the rectory with prayer intentions you want included in the printed bulletin.

  • The Rosary is prayed 30 minutes before weekday Masses.  If there is no Mass that day, it will be prayed at 7:30 am in the Church.
  • The Rosary is prayed 30 minute before weekend Masses, as well.
  • If you are interested in leading the Rosary before any of the weekday or weekend Masses, please contact the rectory.

Hundreds of shawls and baptismal blankets have been made and gifted to our parishioners since the SPCC Prayer Shawl Ministry began in February 2009.  The ministry began as a result of our parishioners and their loved ones receiving shawls from other prayer shawl ministries.

We begin to knit or crochet each shawl while saying prayers and offering blessings for the recipient.  When completed, the shawls receive a final blessing before being sent to those in need of comfort and solace or those celebrating milestone moments in their lives.  Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, St. Veronica, and St. Patrick have been the patron saints of this ministry group.

Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to join this work of mercy by crocheting or knitting shawls or baptismal blankets.  Donated materials are available.  Both experienced and beginning crafters are welcome to join.  Contact the rectory, if you'd like to become a part of our Prayer Shawl Ministry team!
