Prayer invites parishioners to grow in relationship with God through regular communication, reflection, and worship. Rooted in the Church’s teaching on the importance of personal and communal prayer (CCC 2558–2565, 2744–2745), it is lived through daily prayer, Mass, the sacraments, and devotional practices, deepening our gratitude and guiding our service to others.

Third grade parish male youth and above assist Father in the Mass. Training is provided during the school day for SPCS students and at PSR for non-parish school students. Parish school students will serve at weekday masses, as well. If your son is interested in serving and is not already, please contact the Parish Office.

Our Adult Choir sings at 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays and throughout the year at particularly special Masses - Easter, Christmas, etc. Our children’s choir is formed of students at St. Patrick Catholic School. They sing at a few events and masses throughout the year - Catholic Schools Week mass, First Communion, etc.

Our parish is blessed to have continuous adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Monday through Friday. If you are looking to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ by taking an hour, we invite you to join us! Watch the bulletin or contact the rectory for available hours. Substitutes are always needed.

In order to keep our Adoration Chapel functioning efficiently, a day captain is assigned to each day of the week. This person is in charge of finding substitutes if the regularly scheduled adorer cannot find a replacement on their own.

Assist in the reverent distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass and bring Communion to the homebound, if needed. Through this ministry, EMHCs support the sacramental life of the parish and help ensure that all the faithful are nourished by the Eucharist. Appointed by the pastor, EMHCs require training by the diocese and/or parish.

8th grade and older young men in the parish can be trained and initiated as a Frassati Server. Frassati Servers assist at Mass and other liturgical celebrations, learning to serve with reverence and joy. Inspired by Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, this program combines liturgical service with faith formation, helping youth grow in prayer, responsibility, and discipleship while actively participating in the life of our parish.

Read and proclaim the Word of God during Masses and other liturgical celebrations, sharing Scripture with clarity and reverence. Through prayerful preparation and faithful proclamation, lectors help the parish community listen to and reflect on God’s Word as an essential part of worship.

Coordinate and guide the parish’s musical worship, selecting music that reflects the liturgical season and supports active participation in the Mass while leading the parish in sung prayer. In collaboration with choir, musicians, and cantors, the Music Ministry Leader helps foster meaningful worship for our parish community.

Parishioners that share their musical talents with our parish during weekend Masses. We are always seeking musical talents within our parish!

Participate in the Mass by presenting the bread, wine, and offertory at the altar during the Preparation of the Gifts. This simple yet meaningful role represents the offering of our lives and blessings to God and invites the faithful to take part in the sacrificial nature of the Eucharist.

Hundreds of shawls and baptismal blankets have been made and given away over the years. Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, St. Veronica, and St. Patrick have been the patron saints for this group of ladies. Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to join this work of mercy by crocheting or knitting shawls or baptismal blankets.

The Rosary is prayed 30 minutes before every weekend Mass. Leaders arive early and lead the parish in saying the Rosary before Mass begins.

The sacristan serves behind the scenes to prepare the church and sacred vessels for Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Through careful attention to vestments, linens, liturgical books, and altar preparations, the sacristan helps ensure that each celebration is reverent and well-organized, supporting the prayer life of the parish community. Our young ladies in middle school are trained to be sacristans and assist at weekday masses.

Welcome people to Mass, seat parishioners and visitors when needed, assist in offertory collection, hand out bulletins, and check and clean pews and floor areas after Mass - straightening of Hymnals & Missals.
